Hi guys
I want to be able to connect my ipod to my in-built car stereo but don't have an aux socket. The other half is banging on about some wireless device that you can use to tune the ipod through one of the radio stations. Does such a thing exist?
Thanx

yeh they are FM transmitters but they are quite crap in my experience. check to see if you can get a cheap stereo with aux from ebay or something"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

The more you spend the better quality sound you'll get. Unfortunately to get decent quality you'll spend as much as the above posters suggestionIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0

I've got one of these type.

works fine with a card or ipod. Some interference occasionally, from other radio stations, but not often.
(I haven't got this sellers, but identical. There are two very similar types, one remembers the sd card track when you turn it off, and the radio frequency, the other doesn't. First type is best for a few pennies more)0 -
I use this one for my iPhone/iPod...

Thanks guys. I'm guessing it's an FM transmitter I'm after then. I didn't know what they were called."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

If you have a cassette player in your stereo, you can get an adaptor with a cassette on one end and the other end plugs into your MP3 player. I've got one and it works really well.
Otherwise it's an FM transmitter, as others have said, but the quality can be a bit variable to say the least.0 -

Oddly my post about a cheap car stereo has been deleted"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0
