    I like that it's humerous :)

We do have a candelabra on the table, just for fun though we're not snobs.

Humerous it may be but it's not cheap......

Wow - you must have a big table.
  • Haven't got to the bottom of my own table yet, so this is a pic of my table...

In the centre, nothing but towards one side is a fleece one cat sleeps on and on the other side a pile of clean washing, the other cat usually sleeps on that :)

You've inspired me to go and clear it all up this afternoon and contemplate what to put in the middle.

Ha ha!! I'm glad that I'm not the only person who has a cat and clean washing on my dining table ;) although my cat sleeps on the table runner :rotfl:

Until last Saturday there was a two-seater leather sofa on it :rotfl::rotfl: We got it free and it was drying out :D

Now it has my Raclette on it which I really need to move to the side unit to make room for the copious amounts of flowers OH will buy me for valentines :rotfl::rotfl:

Over xmas I have a square glass vase filled with shiny sparkly beads and baubles - It's about the only time we have something pretty on it otherwise it tend to be bare :o:D

We have a square glass hurricane vase with black stones and vanilla candle in it that my son bought me a couple of years ago from France whilst on his school trip.

  • (The last time I looked, this afternoon)

    A chicken.

A live chicken, that is. My dining room currently looks like a second hand furniture storage unit- the dining table has had to be put on the deck for the timebeing, and the chickens have decided they like the vantage point.

A blue bowl, a camera and newspapers
  • A lovely hand-painted blue and white ceramic bowl we bought from a tiny stall in a Greek mountain village, many, many years ago.

A grey document wallet/holder thingy I bought the last time I did a 'paperwork sort out, declutter and stay on top of the mess' session.

    and also

three mailshot envelopes, car keys, sunglasses upside down and unworn for the past three weeks, a really, really black banana, a Lovefilm return envelope, a retractable tape measure, and some quite nice-looking fruit in the bowl.

Pretty impressive, really. That 'clear, clean declutter' drive from last year is still holding pretty solid. Oh, and my tantrum from Saturday may have had an effect, too.....
