Edinburgh North Bridge looked like it had been hit by a swarm of locusts at 10 - in the past I've been able to get several decent things from there after work on 75% sale day, oh well.
Got the one thing I was particularly after - the No7 Total Colour Compact - at Waverley, though. They had a few sale bits and pieces still out on a stand saying 50% off, so I asked the assistant to scan it and see (with 5 minutes until my train left - priorities, lol) and it came up at £4.50.
Not sure I'll venture out to any others on my way home, they'll probably be cleared out and there's not a whole lot I might want, anyway.0 -

...just back from Watford (Harlequin), I was there for 9.30am. Only a couple of aisles and ends of 75% stock. Not too busy but was filling up when I left. There were lots of Gok, Fearne & Strictly big sets which weren't moving, and crackers & cards.
I got a few Twilight sets £4.25 & £3 (my daughters are obsessed), some Sassy Tink sets £3.25, SATC clutch £3.75, Sweet Boutique box sets £2, Almond sets £1.50, Hardy's wine rack £3.75, a folding travel frame £1.27 & some subbuteo bits: wallet £2.50 & cufflinks £2.00.
There were lots of photo albums, Gu sets, some more men's stuff & the rest was quite bitty & random, from what i could see.
Happy hunting, all. I think its very store specific this year & the luck of the draw. Quite pleased with my haul though not quite as good as in previous years. But with the stuff I got from Body Shop sale & Claires 10 for £10, my pressie cupboard is well stocked.0 -
I stayed up till 1.30 and then started trying again at 8.30. Got through to check out and started to input card details when site crashed.
Rang customer services, they said the site update would empty my basket. Got back in and all my items still in basket.
Problem is everytime i enter card details the site crashes again. i have entered details 3 times now as crashes before i get a confirmation - hope i don't end up with 3 orders!Mort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.100
