Not as funny as you saying looking at 12 months is moving the goalposts on inflation data.
I think you would be better of playing with Jumpers GD, they are easier to move.;)
This is the last post in response to you on this matter, which, by all accounts it seems you are absolutely intent on completely ignoring.
You are asking me to look at 12 months of data.
However, YOU want to look at the January VAT increase and apply that to the figures. One months (this months) tax increase, and then strip it out of this data.
YOU want to look at specific items for sale, and suggest other items are not a good example.
But YOU want to use ALL those items to strip out of the CPI data.
As I said. Amusing.
YOU want to ignore the logic of overstating tax increases in stripping out data, but come along and tell me, to go research and apply some logic.
You are now suggesting I'm moving goalposts.
Alrighty then. Cya.

OK I presume you have that post?
Or is it more than likely how you have read it and confused yourself.
Never said any of the above you know it and it is in black and white for everyone to see.
I know how CPI data works. It is yoy, so show where I said any of that, just another attempt to derail a well put together debate by saying goalposts every post.0 -
Looks as if there is going to be more pressure on inflation
