Yes and many allegations against benefit claimants are plain wrong/malicious.hjb123 wrote:No Im not having second thoughts - I could report it and the police have the details but I sure wouldnt want the person at the other end finding out who reported them You can do it for benefit claimants!
What if your allegation is wrong/false, what comeback has that person got ??
I still don't understand why you think you should be able to make an anonymous allegation
which maybe wrong, without any comeback to you ??0 -

Funny, I often feel like doing that to cars with parents and babies in them as well!nej wrote:Slash her tyres... I feel like doing that to people who park in parent and baby spaces.
Seriously, wouldn't it be much healthier if the parent and toddler parking was at the furthest part of the car park from the shop, rather than right next to it?! Given the high levels of obesity among the nation's children, the walk would do them no harm at all.
(I will never park in a Disabled parking space, but I cannot think of any reason why I should not park in a "parent and toddler" space, and often do so. If people make a lifestyle choice to have children, then they can bloody well suffer the consequences.)

I think you're missing the point a bit here. I couldn't care less where in the carpark those bays are located. The point is that they are wider spaces, meaning you can open the doors fully to get children in and out of child seats properly. I bet you'd be the first to moan if I bashed your car door when trying to open mine wide enough to get my son into his car seat!0 -

xzibit - chances are the jam you were in was being caused by people actually letting people out of the side roads.
Well, the jam was caused in my opinion, by the fact people were pushing their way out infront of people, which caused people having to reverse etc, stopping the flow. If just every other person on the main flow out of the car park, let one person out, it would have taken about 5 minutes, but nobody would let anybody out, so people resorted to forcing their way out!
Honestly, you had to see it to believe it. I only let a couple of cars out in one go once, just because I do not take kindly to abuse for no wrong doing!! I was being curtious to a driver, and the people behind did not like it. If they acted like me, it wouldn't have taken them so long to get out. I was not trying to purposely wind them up, but it just really annoyed me. I only let out 2 more cars, not as though I sat there for another 20 mins.
One thing I will remember in future though, is to park as near to the exit as possible, as that means a lot less queuing!!0 -

It's a warning what can happen in a free for all, when law & order breaks down.
People's behaviour is different in a car & shielded by them being in a car.
They wouldn't dream of doing same to your face.
Recently in News it said people in Britain had lowest poll in Europe (35% I think) when interveaning with some rowdy/troublesome teenagers.
People's behaviour is repressed & they behave like lunatics in protected environment of car.

xzibit - yeah I guess I needed to be there, but I'm darn glad I wasn't
I think you hit the nail on the head about people just pushing in - they should at least wait until the cars that were queuing on the main road before you have got past. I guess it's just a sign of todays "caring and sharing society" or should that be "me me ME ME society"?
