Hiya
Yes, you can install firefox and it will not affect your IE6 setup. I prefer firefox to IE as there are many benfits, such as security, tabbed browsing, tabbed browsing, tabbed browsing, themes, add-ons, etc.0 -
So when installed does it just give you an icon on your desktop so you can choose to browse with firefox or IE6 and does windows media player work with it?0

I prefer FF over IE for many reasons but, having tried both IE7 and FF v2, I'm not keen on either at the moment. Too slow.
Maybe it's just me but I've gone back to FF v1.5.0.7 for the time being. I intend to wait and see what happens to FF v2.
Few more thoughts from someone else ...

I'm mostly a Firefox user. Every now and again I get a site which doesn't work so I have IE6 on standby just in case.
I quite like Opera too, but for me Firefox 2.0 has combined the best of all the browsers.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

Hi magyar .... don't you use the FF "IE Tab" add-on for situations like this or is it that it doesn't work for you?magyar wrote:I'm mostly a Firefox user. Every now and again I get a site which doesn't work so I have IE6 on standby just in case.

I think FF2 was rushed out, because IE7 had just come out! Im going back to FF1.5 as well, i lost all my bookmarks and the spellchecker dont work anymore in FF2 :mad:0
