I got £1 for registering and then filled out loads of questions but keep being told im not eligible for that survey
feels like a lot of work for nothing at the minute0 -
I did a Populus survey yesterday with no problem, maybe just a temporary glitch.Newvistalive don't like me,I've applied to dozens and got to do one!I don't like them either, yah boo sucks!
(Very mature eh?)
A bit of a bummer about the new £25 threshold but Vivatic are still one of the best I reckon so I'll stick with them. This is provisional of course on them paying me on the 15th as promised.
Keep at it lil_Amz99,the Populus and Web Sourcing surveys are quite regular and you probably will qualify for a lot of them.At £1/85p a throw they're some of the best paying ones out there.I've also found the Populus questionnaires have a very user friendly format and aren't overlong.0 -
Lordy, some of the New Vista surveys are ridiculously long for £1 !! If I had completed the one I did today through New Vista's site I would have been paid about £4, but doing it on Vivatic only got me £1 and it went on f o r e v e r.....
There seem to be two types of New Vista surveys on Vivatic's website. One type is fine and not overly long, the other (like the one I did) is a lot longer. You can tell which type it is when you start. The shorter one has the 'pink and 'blue' logo for male or female but the long one just asks 'male' or 'female.' I might give those ones a miss, it's a bit of a cheek on Vivatic's part to say the least!Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
The survey advice is much appreciated, I did a New Vista one on Friday night that must have been 35-40 minutes long so I'll keep my eyes peeled for the logo
I never get credited for the web sourcing surveys, I don't think I'm the only one. In August they paid a lot of us for the web sourcing survey glitch and I went back to doing them, but after 8 or 9 I just gave up as nothing ever credited.
Such a shame they've changed the payment, I agree!0 -
Today, I have completed - through Vivatic - a survey for Web Sourcing, which took me to a Pinecone Survey, was about 15 minutes long and got me the princely sum of......85p. Had I been invited to complete this survey on Pinecone's actual website, I would have received £4.
I then tried another Web Sourcing survey, this one took me to a New Vista survey (!!) and I received 85p again.
How do these survey companies work? Why didn't I get the New Vista survey under their section on Vivatic?
To be honest, we are being taken for a ride a lot of the time. I don't mind doing the Populus surveys, they are a reasonable length, but the New Vista ones especially bug me, because they pay £1 on Vivatic's site but £4 on their own site.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
Can someone help me as I must be doing somethign wrong. I've signed up to Vivatic and NewVista live. On Vivatic I've completed several NewVista surveys but haven't had a single survey sent to me on NewVista. I've fully completed my profile and details on NewVista and have even uploaded my photo but still nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

Just almost done a survey from the Vivatic site, all about artificial sweeteners - it took ages and at 45% I was screened out! I think this is taking the p**s quite a bit as I'd already done 15 minutes' worth!
Being screened out is understandable- we are all different and fit into different profiles for surveys, but I think this may be a cynical way of surveying people without paying them?0 -

Same here Mrs Money and djl - survey about sweeteners screened me out at 45% completed, when I'd been answering questions for 17 minutes. My immediate thought was like yours, Mrs Money: they are getting their research results for nothing! Can understand being screened out near the beginning, but that was ridiculous. Will email Vivatic in the morning and see what they say......0

I agree about the New Vista surveys being much too long. Perhaps we should all complain to Vivatic as the website says the average length of a survey is 15 minutes. I started one of the Web Sourcing surveys once but it was clearly going to go on for around 45 minutes and that's just taking the michael.Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0
