Contraceptive Patch
Comments
-
I used to get it from the Brook and really got on with it. I wore mine on the back of my shoulder blades and had no problems with it, especially bearing in mind I swim several times a week. I had no side effects to speak of. It can get a bit discoloured and fluffy, from picking up fluff from jumpers etc and does leave a bit of a mark when you take it off, but I would recommend it to anyone. Occasionally used to irritate in the summer months, but this was only quite infrequently. Think you can also wear it on your backside, side of your stomach and top of your arm/shoulder, so wherever is most discrete for you. Even though it is skin coloured, if it's on show it's pretty obvious you are wearing a big plaster and I did have several people ask me if it was a nicorette patch when I was swimming! Not using it at the moment as my boyfriend is at the opposite end of the Country for most the week, but I will definitely be using it again when I next use contraception.0
