sick and tired of orange

bear with me on this one i am so frustrated
it all started on the 27th of october my broadband connection suddenly stopped working
i phoned up orange technical support and they said that my meg had been upgraded from 1 meg to 2 meg and to wait anyway to cut a long story short i have had no broadband connection now for 11 days ( i am on dial up which i have to pay for) i have had 6 line tests done which means that i havent been able to use my home phone for 2 hours at a time for 6 days ive just had a bt engineer out to check my phoneline and it turns out my phone line cannot handle 2 meg of broadband so i phoned orange and it is going to be another 10 days before the downgrade is done i am so peed off orange have said that it is bts fault
has anybody got any advice for me as to who i complain to as i need my pc as i am on a course

Sorry to hear about your problems with Orange. I would suggest you move to another ISP if you're out of your 12 month contract with Orange, although that might prove problematic as Orange seem to be reluctant to give out MAC codes that actually work.
