    suprise chocolate and toffee

whats the surprise, you get 0% chocolates and 100% toffee.

I wish it was, I love that toffee. Unfortunately only one box of toffee and four boxes of chocolates :p
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.
  • I'm STILL waiting for them to sort out the order that never arrived... placed before Christmas

Or 100% choc, 0 toffee, and I was really looking forward to the toffee.

Ours didn't arrive, when I checked the tracking, it was 'parcel damaged, returned'.

I emailed, they sent a new tracking number and we received a disappointing box of chocolatey stuff ~ resembling the pic in no way, my gift tag was repl;aced with an apology card.

    I shan't bother again.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
  • My box arrived today (lots of jealous people at work), and I'm actually quite pleased with it. I got:

Toffee Hamper x 1 (BBE Feb)
Big Block x 1 (BBE Nov!)
Milk Chocolate Collection x 2 (BBE March)
Christmas Goodies Tubes x 2 (BBE Feb - Lucky I have 2 small kids!)
Chocolate Snowman x 1 (BBE June)
Continental 350g (free gift with voucher code.)

Pricing it up at the sale prices, works out as about £40 worth, so I think that's okay. That's including the free box, though.
Recent wins: iPhone 5s, iPad mini, Micro scooter, Commonwealth Games tickets, Magnum of Champagne, Skincare Set, Make up, £250 voucher
  • Serves me right!! Ate some of the special toffee - now minus a filling and it's gonna cost me at the dentist to get it replaced.

i am new to this forum but have been looking for years!
i ordered the thorntons hamper and paid the £10.00 for it, mine came last saturday and i was very dissapointed in mine, i got 1 x larg box of chocs (456 grms) and 3 x large blocks of solid chocolate each weighing 500grms plus two of the slabs were broken in a lot of pieces.
i rang customer services up on the sun morn, spoke to a lovely lady there and said how unhappy i was, that this was not an assortment, that they were broken and that they did not add up to 2 kg she never questioned anything, just apologised and said she would give me a full refund straight away through paypal (that is how i paid) and told me to dispose of the chocolate however way i thought.
so i am quite happy with that outcome.
  • the lady at thorntons also said that they had recieved a lot of complaints about these boxes, with people not being happy with what they had got, i said to her that i know it was a suprise box, it was nothing like what it showed in the picture on website.

    What was their response ?.
