Just to let you know that we bought the individual passes today at legoland Manchester Trafford Centre - they cost £72 each inclusive of VAT, that was for the standard Merlin passes - you can upgrade them if you pay an additional £30 and I might do that for one of them so we get free parking as we are thinking of many visits to Alton Towers and a couple to Windsor Legoland this year.

  • I bought a pass for my daughter today at Chessington for £72.00. Her pass was due to expire 21 April 2011, so the new pass now expires 21 April 2012. The lady who served us explained that she would loose her current terms and conditions and the new terms will apply for the whole duration. Not a problem as the rest of the family have passes until September and October this year so car parking in covered!

I did consider buying a premium pass for my husband and a standard for the rest of us so that parking would be covered. Sadly, that still wouldn't fix the no Legoland til 2pm in August issue, but might work for someone else?
hey there's no money but we couldn't be happier if we tried
    £2 coin pot - £92!
  • I was going to go down to Chessington and buy the standard Merlin passes but they don't seem to be available now.

What's the next cheapest, don't mind travelling to London or Windsor?

    thanks

If anyone has bought at Warwick please can you confirm the price please.

Plus is it true that just one person needs a premium pass to get free car parking?

    TIA

I don't go to legoland in August it is just too busy! I have promised to take my son on his next onset day, the rest of the family hate legoland because it is so busy, so not a problem for me. It means I get to spend time with each of my children separately. They have both been to London on separate inset days so it work out really, the dungeons and tussaurds were the quietest I have ever seen them when I took my daughter and friend (using the MAP friends offer). We had a great day the X factor audition in tussaurds was so funny!
  • I wouldn't bother with Sealife or Dungeons - both are pretty poor value for money - even with 50% off! Not been to Chessington and Legoland so can"t comment on them.

I emailed Warwick. They are doing the 50% off on new passes only (not renewals). You have to activate the card immediately, so not very good if you have a card with time remaining on it (like me)

You have to buy in person at the gate or take a photo of the person if you are buying for someone else (passport photo)
I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 2010
  • I spoke to both Brighton Sea Life Centre and Chessington yesterday who both confirm that they are offering 50% off standard individual annual passes only, which makes them £72 each, up until 14th February.
Sea Life Centre issue you with a voucher which you then have to take to a main attraction like one of the Theme Parks to make them into the proper photo pass.
Chessington will make your pass up when you are there and you can upgrade to a Premium Annual pass for an extra £30 each, making them £102.
No discounts are being given on any family passes.
