Downgrade from froyo
Hi i was wondering how to downgrade my galaxy s from froyo to eclair?? Before upgrading from eclair i would get a day and a half of battery usage with moderate use, but with the upgrade i only get half a day maximum, even to test my battery i didnt use my phone after charging it one time and it only lasted 14 hours! Any advice would be appreciated,

youll need to downgrade thru odin if your familiar with it, if not go on to xda developers forums , galaxy s section (obviously).
think youll need to go to samfirmware (not official) download the eclair firmware and the pit file then use odin to flash back to eclair
regards
youll hav to be rooted 1st cause im sure you cant downgrade officiallythey don't make shortbread any longer:)0 -

speaking from a desire user theres certain things you can do to increase bat life, do you not have the same option on the sammy, have you checked out the sammy section of the android forums0 -
hi thanks for the replies, i think my issue is to do with the batery caliberation! i did my froyo upgrade not on full charge but 80% so it messed up my battery stats apprently so i am seeing what to do0

Wont be that, the battery info is held in /data/system/batterystats.bin and wont have been touched by the update. You can always charge the phone right up and a factory reset for piece of mind.0
