Whoa! This thread is running sooooo fast!

AnW's Mum, Miss A and Master W -thinking of you

Helen - silent supporting vibes heading your way

Pigpen - Glad it was peaceful at the end

DH's invites have finally arrived and are being distributed far and wide. Band is booked as is the DJ. Caterers are negotiating...... It's finally coming together!

Hour and a half until I head off to niece's engagement party. Very excited as we will discover exactly where the wedding and reception will be in Crete.

Need to clear up the lunch things then I'm going to have a nap for 30 mins then make myself presentable for the party.

Love, hugs, congratulations and comisserations to all who need them.
  • really sorry to hear that pigpen. Very glad it was peaceful though. Thinking of you and yours x

Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.

Pigpen sorry to hear your news. May her journey to the Summerlands be easy.

AnW's I have my favourite piece of yellow citrine on the desk beside me in honour of Yellow Day.

Helen and Sunnygirl and Grateful massive posi-vibes and (((HUGS)))

Door #6 (bathroom) is being worked on; Mr LW has set off the smoke alarm (again!) by using the electric planer in the hallway - the alarm thinks the fine wood dust is smoke particles, I reckon.

I've decluttered another thundering long list of CAMRA beer scores onto the spreadsheet. I wish we could join in the actual checking of the pubs, but so many have no wheelchair access; also they check 6 or 7 different ones in a single evening, which would just be too tiring for me.

It's all gone quiet.... I think I'd better go and see what Mr LW's up to (making coffee or tea, with any luck;)).
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Thanks LW and lovely to see you LadyL.

Managed to do a half hearted s and s of the kitchen, hung up a hat (it really is that pathetic) and put a bin liner in the bin.
