agreed! Pen Pen who is your avatar picture now?

It is indeed the late, great Nigel Pargetter, who is a real person, not a character  He had the loveliest voice on radio (joint loveliest with his cousin-by-marriage Debbie Aldridge :p ).

    Afternoon all

    Happy Birthday Poohbear:bdaycake:

Peaceful passing wishes for pigpen's OH's gran

Lovely sunny day again, very frosty, washing out on the line again, I like this.

I've done the bathroom and toilet today and did the living room earlier in the week. I hope I'm not tempting fate, but I've put the spade and yardbrush back in the shed instead of the cupboard under the stairs where it has been living from when we had snow (to clear the paths). Fingers crossed.

I've chucked some almost empty paint pots away. There's a big bag at the back of the cupboard and I can't remember what's in it. When I'm feeling energetic :rotfl:I'll see if it's something I can throw away....

    Hope everyone else is OK.

Oh time for lunch break (much needed). I have managed to strip all around the door which was a bit of a pain as it was fitted after the last paper went up so I have taken off what I can without removing too much of the sealant. I now need to beg dad for help to remove that last of the paper and also re-seal the door frame as it is letting in a serious draught in places. Now the curtain is down from there I need to sort those windy holes out.

I am working systematically today rather than randomly doing bits I can reach I am working properly from ceiling to floor on each area. If I keep up the rate I am I should manage to clear all the lining paper today, which would be awesome. especially as it is a hallway it is not simple four walls and one door and window. There are a lot of nooks and cranies to get around.

I have been adding my stardrops into my water which I am using to soak the paper (steamers damage my walls) and it is working a lot better than just plain water. Another wonderful use for stardrops lol.

OK, time to eat and drink my coffee and then back to work.

    xx
