15 days until I move!!!!
Right money is a bit of a nightmare right now. Am officially in debt again....but trying to work out how to get it paid off ASAP and with as little interest as possible.
Got my new 0% credit card @ £1700 so have just transferred £1600 onto that with a 3% balance transfer fee so thats £50ish fee.
Have just insured car for me & simon (can't expect him to pay any!) at £576 and thats been put on HBSC credit card so is liable for interest and needs paying off ASAP.
Paid out £60 today to buy bits to service my car and paying one of the mechanics £40 to actually do service for me Saturday, having a major service and he will make sures its all in good nick and tell me of anything else that needs doing (clutch is debatable right now!).
Also need to tax the car for £60 once I have insurance (though DVLA is saying its taxed cos guess last owner hasn't sent off his old disc yet!).
Can pay cash for the tax but just need to get HSBC credit card cleared ASAP whilst moving and sorting new bills.....
Savings are now £2,434.58 though but do not wanna dip into them unless its dire emergency!
And I have booked a driving lesson for 20th feb!!!! Lovely lady instructor who brought her car into my work other day to get fixed so gonna try her, cheaper than the last guy and she is happy to do Sunday lessons which is only day that fits me now!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
:j to booking driving lesson!

Thanks hun.....3rd time lucky.....3rd driving instructor that is (unless you count the one lesson I had at 18!)
Sig all updated....like it to read right makes me feel in control. Paid off £135 on HSBC card to round it down to £700 to pay off!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Need to do a budget for rest of month, end of Feb when I get paid its all gonna change but luckily Feb will be first payday where I have not been sick, will get bonus and £100 commission too so wont be a bad amount for first time in 2 months.
Currently have £462.68 in bank, got £50 to go to Dad to cover council tax (not charging me rent as moving out in 2 weeks), and have 4 more direct debits to pay this month (though sky is only £22 as its cancelled now!) so that leaves me £320 but I also have £60 card payment for car parts, £60 to tax it, £40 to mechanic
So I only have £160 left for 27 days and still have to put petrol in it.....:eek::eek: and pay £33 for a driving lesson on 20th.......beans on toast for dinner for next month!
Oh god just remembered have best mates birthday too just before pay day on 26th!!!! Noooooooo!!!!!!! Will be a messy night out.....gonna have to sort some extra cash from somewhere...Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Sounds like the driving instructor is nice, is very important as I think it took me ages to learn as my instructer made me nervous!0

9 sleeps until moving!!!!
:j
Cant wait now, just wanna be with Simon everynight *passes the sick bucket to you all*.
Moved some of my stuff over there the other day, feels a bit odd as a lot of it will be going in the loft as he already has everything really.
Ideally I want us to buy another house, together, as that was his exes house, obviously that is not gonna happen for a few years but would be nice to have "our" home and get rid of some of the furniture.....I sound like i am scheming but I am sure you know what I mean!!!
Need to pack cds, dvds and books etc and clothes, and kitty stuff. But I can do that on move days.
Hoping cats will be ok, 3rd move in 2 years for them and this time with kids.....
I drove my car yesterday too! Was quite scared but done now and will have to keep doing it as need a licence now otherwise will never see my friends and will spend hours more at work! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
:j to driving - well done

7 sleeps til move!!!!
I love my Dad but god I cannot wait to move out as we just clash too much with me here!!!
I am 19 days away from pay day with £50 to get me through and with that I have to buy Simon a small valentines present and my mate a birthday pressie..... and find going out money! Gonna end up using credit card I think!!!
Wages should be good when I do get paid bout £1300 but I have no clue what monies will be going to Simon yet. Again I need to broach the subject of him getting the Consent Order with his ex wife so she cant try and do her trick again of trying to claim money from the house off him. Until then I am not paying towards the mortgage if she is just gonna be able to try and get half of it if we sell it.
You think divorce would stop her being entitled but nope!
Hes got no balls when it comes to her though so I might have to threaten him with no sex or something until he does it!!!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Forgot to add I did a survey last night for a £6 amazon voucher which is good as might be able to get mate a pressie with that......
Currently talking to Simon about that consent order and now his excuse is that he owes her money so hes not sure if he can do it, I said he could work that into it as its basically an agreement on how much he pays her for the kids anyway so he could pay her £100 a month for a few years into it..... excuses excuses. I can see us getting into an argument about this, the one thing about him that really annoys me is that fact she seems to be able to still get him to say how high when she says jump!!!:cool::cool::cool:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
I am moving in.......1 sleep!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek:
I have so much stuff to take with me god knows how I am going to get it all orgainsed in Simons house....
Trying to pack tonight but cats are being overly curious and Spencer has fallen asleep on some of the stuff I wanted to pack!
So by end of month I will have a new budget.
I also have another mission as well as clearing the debt. Simon says we can't afford to go on holiday but I neeeeeeed a holiday this year, I know I can find a way, MSE defo is gonna have to start being a bigger part of my life again!!!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
