Just had a thought, Simon can look at car but I cant drive it, he will have to test drive it..... !!!!!!. Have to trust his judgment for my car.....and hes just brought a van which engine blew up in!!!!

Well I will do tomorrow, buying a 05 Corsa from work for £1800! 1.2 ltr, needs a new clutch but will get that cheap from work and mechanic will fit for pretty much free! £600 for insurance for me and Simon but could be worse I guess.

Well excited, its got electric windows, mirrors, air con and work was gonna sell on for £3k so got a bargain and I love it,gonna sit in it tomorrow and pretend to drive!!!! :rotfl:

That sounds as though you are excited to drive it which means you need to get you butt in gear to get your license

It's silver. Will take some pics tomorrow. Got day off work but going in just to buy it! Will not be able to drive it for a week or two whilst getting clutch sorted. Am worried that I will scare Simon with my driving.:o

Yay for days off work!!!!

Crawled out of bed and watching JK with a cup of tea right now, just bout to hop in shower and then get train to town to meet my friend Gemma for lunch and then going to buy my car!!!! Gonna be an expensive day!

Poor Simon is at work wish he had day off with me but then its also nice that I get a day to myself which doesnt happen often now.

He is all mine now. At work but paid for. Just needs a service clutch and clean. Oh and tax and insurance!!!! And a driver without nerves....

Day 2 of my long weekend and 18 days before me and the cats shift to Simons.

I am gonna have to jig my money round as now after buying the car I am £1800 in debt!

I got accepted for the 0% Tesco card last week which has a £1700 limit, but I can't transfer the whole lot across as also have a balance transfer fee to calculate.

Then need to pay for the clutch, service, 6mths tax and it needs an MOT in march, need to do it all without paying little or any interest but can't bear to spend my savings.......

Am already terrified of driving it. Maybe my last driving instructor was right I might need hypnotherapy.......prob will go see my doctors before a test as got to get these nerves under control. Is there a thread on here bout nerves? Not found many driving threads....
