Am on 3rd load of washing though and just had a call from the other job I applied for and have an interview on Friday at 10am.
.
I know its not my dream job but am seriously hoping its better than where I am now and fingers crossed could be more money.
Being offered an interview anywhere always helps you to feel good anyway!
Thrilled for you. Good luck!
As for the work avoidance behaviour....tut tut tut!:cool:Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Pay day today!!!
Unfortunately I have not been feeling very well last couple of days, had strong stomach pains and cramping, feel a bit better this morning but got a doctors appointment later, need to get a repeat prescription anyway.
Got my interview at 10am so just about to have a cup of tea and a bath, need to leave house in a hour.
Just started the transfers of money.
Had £1480 in my bank account this morning.
Just transferred £580 to Simon for bills.
Paid £200 off main credit card.
Have £91.33 in DD's to go out this month.
Need to pay off £50 on tesco credit card.
£250 to savings.
Leaving me £252 (as waiting for £56 I spent on card yesterday) to play with this month.
But I do need to start buying Christmas pressies out of that as well.... I did take a look at the boots site yesterday on the 3 for 2 but nothing really caught my eye.
I am waiting for the clubcard double up to see if I can get kids some toys to save the pennies, if not gonna have to survey my little butt off to get some vouchers before xmas!!!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Good luck with your interview

Well the interview seemed to go really well earlier, he seemed pretty keen to take me on but will have to wait to hear as someone else he interviewed today might have been better.
Patience is not a virtue, if I haven't heard by end of Monday I will know though as he said he would let me know by then, did take names of references though and asked me about my wages, although I made the flaw of telling him my exact salary, I should have upped it a bit
I didnt ask anything about the package either, this is stupid of me and why I get rubbish wages .
Would be working every other Saturday though but I do that quite often now anyway and its 4hours not 5 like where I am now.
Also it might be for 9 months only as its covering a ladies maternity but that might suit me better anyway as I aim to escape the trade ASAP.
Anyway might lead to nothing still!
Doctors couldn't find anything wrong me with, if I feel worse than to go back.
Should be doing some college work but really fancy chinese food and slobbing out on sofa and doing work tomorrow before hairdressersNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Finally getting round to writing an entry! Been meaning to for a few days.
Biggest news first of all, I got the job! Will be starting there beginning of December, am trying to wangle it though so I start a couple days after leaving current job.
Am going to miss some of the people I work with but wooohoooo even if it is just for a year or so!
In other news I appear to be skint. Have £7.50 per day left for the month but have done NO christmas shopping yet!
Think I am gonna trade my club card vouchers in for the big exchange to get some toys for the kids but am going to have to work something out, can use my 0% credit card but don't really want too..... not sure have much choice though!
Otherwise will be getting it all next payday and not leaving the house! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Have just traded in my clubcard vouchers for £70 worth of toy vouchers. Its a tad depressing as I remember when me and the ex went to Bulgaria 1/2 paid for by Tesco now I can never earn any decent points, doing so would be a full time job!
BUT its better than nothing and should sort most of the kids presents out, which are most expensive!!!
Of course I will go through topcashback and will get clubcard points too!
Simon's the next expensive person I buy for, always want to get him everything I see I know he would like! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -

Congratulations on the job!
Hope you manage to get through this month with so little money, at least the clubcard points are helping with the christmas present buying.0 -
Bills are all paid Wendz, thats just spending money for me each day!
Managed a NSD today though.
Have been persuaded by my friend in London to go see her this weekend though..... Told her I am skint but we are going to have a girlie sleep over apparantly, haven't seen her for ages so do want to go, its the train fares that kill it!
Not brave enough to drive though plus if I have a few drinkies with dinner then it might be a bad idea!
Got my Tesco credit card clubcard points through post today....had the card for 9 months now and managed to get £2.50 worth of vouchers :rotfl:Spent about £3500 on it too! Guess the £1700 of balance transfer I got it for didn't count for points! At least its 0%, prob not worth keeping once that runs out!
I do of course have my savings to fall back on but looks like xmas will be on the card, least its 0% for a few more months. Then will have to try get another one.

Wooooohoooooo logged into my Nielsen account and have another £20 worth of Amazon vouchers coming my way, only claimed £30 in August so not bad for a app on my phone!
Nearly at another £5 on swagbucks too, so that can all go towards xmas!
Tesco emailed me a £10 off £75 code for direct too hoping to combine it with my clubcard exchange vouchers!!!
