Hi
Trying to connect my friends laptop up via my broadband. I think I've accidently changed some settings
When trying to connect to my network, an error message comes up saying
"the settings saved on this computer for the network no not match the requirements of the network"
Can anyone tell me how to rectify this please.
Many thanks
Terri

Right-click on your Wireless Adapter Connection > Properties
Right click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
Are they in default settings?0 -

I'm looking in control panel, only see Internet Options - when I've gone into this there is noting about Wireless Adapter Connection.
There is a different Icon - Network and Sharing Centre?0 -

Can you connect via ethernet OK, or just not wirelessly.? Sort the former first, then the wireless side.No free lunch, and no free laptop
