Hi, My wife gave birth to our first child just before Xmas and we haven't got a clue if we are entitled to any WTC or CTC? Between us we earn circa 47k, and my wife plans to go back to work full time, and place the child in childcare full time as well. Would it be cheaper for your wife to stay at home, if childcare is so expensive. If you breastfeed and use washable nappies and freecycle for baby bits it shouldn't cost that much.
