Never tried Lid! might see if there is one close enough for me to get too. I won't touch the stuff at the counters in Tesco not again..
Never gone wrong with Sainsburg over the counter meat for stewing its all I will touch, as we cooked the meat the same way in our pan on a low heat for a long time with veg and gravy after browning it off first, and the Tesco stuff was really awful not like the Sainsburg meat.
Not being a big lover of beef I nearly gave up making it again and my hubby thought it was me not knowing how to cook it properly as I had never done it before.
When I bought the Sainsburg stuff and told him I had cooked it exactly the same way, he said to me to stick with Sainsburg meat from now on as it was much much better, and I agreedMatthew, Izzy, Suzie, Harry, Darwin. My husband my cats, the main things that matter in my life...0
