I have a bose wave cd dab and three other more expensive and bigger systems the bose quality leaves them all standing, just my opinion.

I too have the same, with the ipod doc - and we and everyone else that comes to the house thinks it has a fantastic sound. I agree though each to their own opinion.

OK, that's now two posters who say their Wave is 'better' than other systems, but no word on what those other systems are.

Will either of the posters tell us what other systems they have?

I'm very pleased with my Pure Avanti Flow, FM/DAB/Internet/iPod.
It has a rather nice scrolling O-LED display as well.

Unfortunately no CD (whatever they are :D ) .

    Not cheap though.

I hope you realise that we are not talking about the very top in audio, the bose retails at around £550/600 with any discount you can get. My others (all under £1000) are Denon x2 and a B&O, I also have an old technics which must be 25 years old that outperforms the 3, loath to part with it its part of the family. Back to the bose, like many I had never heard a wave system before I bought it just went on word of mouth I find the sound quality far better than I had imagined it would be, but really if you have not heard one before dont knock it until you have which is not easy as they are only sold by the big bose outlets or on line, or if you are passing this way pop in and listen. As its only 1 year old I can only guess on its durability.

This is my last word on this subject I do not want to get in an internet fight to what is the best or worst audio system, there I have said my bit.
