Someone paid £2k for my phone!

Great, absolute timewaster, what's the quickest way to get this sorted? Do I ahve to wait the 2 weeks it takes to do this? Live help seems to be down at the moment.

Report the user for false contact details. Most likely they will be, they'll get naru and you can file a claim faster.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

  • Is there a legit bidder on the item?
I think you should be able to do a second chance offer :) Maybe get it sold anyway and a lot quicker.
Don't sweat the small stuff ................It's all small stuff!

  • I had a guy bid 3k for something turns out it was a typo... & an ebay mistake in the autobidding (enter your highest amount) if it's like this then you can file a unpaid item dispute. Ebay email the person he accepts that you don't want to continue with the purchase you get your final value fees back and he doesn't get a negative report. I just re-listed it and the guy bought it at £30 on buy it now or you can second chance offer it? Hope this makes sense.
    :)
  • Cheers all, slight update, second highest bidder was £1,999k, the legit bidder below that was £50 but I could get much nearer £70 for it so will just relist. eBay have temporarily suspended the other account as they didn't place the bid and refunded my listing fees but not the FVF (nearly £45!), sent them an e-mail, they've removed the listing now as well so it's a pain for when I do relist it as I'll have to retype it all.

  • Final Value Fee, the fee you pay once an item is sold, it's dependent on the price paid.
