18185.co.uk - have I got this right?
If I sign up with 18185.co.uk I can use my MOBILE to phone numbers abroad (from here in the UK) cheaply - is that correct?
http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php
It says I need to register with them and then dial their number, wait for dialing tone and then dial the international number?
So, register at www.18185.co.uk then dial 020 81 80 2828 (using my mobiles inclusive minutes) and then dial the number in Thialand (or wherever).
That call will then only cost me 1.5p per minute to phone my brothers mobile (or fixed) number? (plus a 4p connection fee).
Do 18185.co.uk have my credit card details when I register or do I have to add a balance?
Sorry if I sound a bit dumb - just checking I understand it.
Finally, anyone have any praise/vents about them?
Thanks
Paul

Yes.Thats about it.It is a cheap way to call abroad using your mobile>they also have a freephone access number which i use from my Giffgaff mobile because those calls are free on giffgaff.

Thanks Neil
I decided to look for reviews of them and the few that Ive found arent very good.
Anyone got anything good/bad to say about them?

I've been using them for a couple of years and have never had any problems - and they're very cheap!0

They are fine... I wouldn't set up a credit card authorization though. Go with a direct debit mandate it has much more power. You can cancel that from the banks end which you can't do with a CC.
Agree with giffgaff. Freephone number and 1p/minute to uk landlines.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

I've also used 18185 for about 3 years. Initially as CPS for all my calls from the landline as the rates were alot cheaper than BT's. We've moved to Virgin and don't really use our landline much, but have registered all mobiles numbers to the service and now get the same great rates when we are away from the home. I too use GiffGaff and 18185 freephone number to access their services, so doesnt' cost that much, but when I was on O2, I used their local number with my free minutes. I've had no problems in the time I've used them and I get billed probably once a quarter for less than £5 for all my calls. I'm not much of a talker, but its great when I need to call 0845/0870 numbers business numbers during the day from my mobile. The work phone isn't so convenient when you're talking private matters in an open planned office.0
