Loud restaurant below us... advice please

The license will allow him to play music in the restaurant. It won't allow him to flout the laws relating to noise. Keep on with the complaints to the council.0

You should contact the local council licensing department to register your objection. Also worth seeing if any other neighbours have problems with the noise & get them to object as well. Would also start looking for somewhere else to live as even if you succeed it sounds like the restaurant manager is not likely to be very willing to stick to any license conditions.Truth always poses doubts & questions.
