  • Like the others have said, you can have as many browsers as you like as long as you have enough memory of course.;) I use GC all the time, with firefox as a backup. I personally find it easier to use,and its quicker to load.

I have two other browsers installed:

Chrome is my main one - advantage - Can push links directly to my android phone, I have a google account so bookmarks are backed up, general speed, also I have invisible hand installed which tells me about deals.

Firefox - used for collecting and adding references in documents (in conjuction with another program called zetero).

I use Opera, everything on one screen: web and e-mail. It's faster than the others that I have tried.

Also have IE and Firefox if I need it for the occasional non-cooperating site !

Like many other people this week, I've just had trouble eradicating the System Tool spyware/'virus'. As I only managed to do it using IE rather than my usual Opera, it has made me really want to re-think whether any browsers are more or less safe than others. Any ideas? If you ignore looks, speed etc which would you trust most, or was the System Tool thing just extra devious as I've hardly ever had any sort of virus before.
