A bit late to the Icesave party but received my R85 today; one problem: where do I find my Icesave branch, sort code and account number. The documentation that came with it was pretty useless and I've had no luck from email customer support.

They are based in Newcastle but use

    Barclays Bank Plc
    Correspondent Banking
    London Customer Service Centre
    Po Box 46116
    London
    EC4N 8WB

    the account number 80469947
    the sort code 20-32-53
You will have a unique reference number which should be on your paperwork

You might like to confirm that by phoning them though on 0845 6056050 or the geographical number 0191 2558377

I emailed them and they said to put the branch as Newcastle and to leave the sort code blank. The account number can be found when you log into your account.

I've just had a LB moment re my savings account. I've been saving in some Halifax savings account which has some ridiculously low rate. This IceSave looks great! I know you have to open it with £250 but do you have to keep that amount in there as a minimum or are you allowed to go under it?

  • I went under (accidentally) for a few days - they didn't close it or anything - I just suspect they don't pay the high interest rate for the period you do go under.

And expecting a reply within 50 minutes is pushing it somewhat

Do you mean on the board, or IceSave Customer Services? :D

I have £250 with IceSave now - can each new addition to that be any amount, or does it have to be £100 or more each time?

    Thanks
