In Arundel there was a really yummy chinese/thai type restaurant at the top of the the hilly 'high st' on the left. Not sure if its still there but it was delicious.

The Castle in Arundel is not open on Saturdays. (check the website to be sure).

Accomodation, if you're wanting basic a new Travelodge is directly opposite the cathedral. They do have underground parking I believe, but don't know what it is like.

I would suggest avoiding Wests Bar. Although the interior is nice, I've found the food to be a bit poor in there when I've eaten there with work.

Like others, I would suggest the theatre if there's something on. If you stay outside of the town for your accomodation and are travelling into town on a Saturday, probably the best place you could park is within the County Council carpark. It is opened to the public of a weekend, and is (or was when I was last doing weekend work for them) £1.50 for the full day to park, making it far cheaper than the others.
