would definately take tonis advice , ceo is the way to go, nice but strong worded email (and also letter as back up) with prints or attachments of your screen grabs, i have had some great advice recently with the same issue as yours and thanks to the guys advice and help here got my prize reinstated and delivered within 1 day of it being sorted. good luck and do we have a facebook campaign for this one yet :cool:

Sorry, for what happened to your mum there. Clued-up MSErs have already given advice and i hope you get this sorted. Good luck. If there is a FB campaign just point me in the right direction .

That is disgraceful. I have read something similar happening on the boards here this week, I don't know what I would do if it happened to me but I know you need to stand your ground. It was their mistake and they should still send the prize.

This seems to be happening more often. We had the the one on Zavvi with Gaz, but I also had this happen to me last week - got an email from UFP (Facebook comp), "congrats you have won the major prize etc etc" but even though it was to my email address, it started with Dear Chris (not my name lol). I contacted them and they said actually it was a mistake, you won one of the t shirts.

I let it go, but was a bit surprised when the winner was announced on Facebook and it was a girl called Michelle or something? Can't help thinking there was something fishy going on! Posted on their FB page and reply was more or less "admin error, you got a t shirt out of it" Was quite a major prize but to be honest can't be bothered fighting with them because they seem like a totally amateur bunch!

I really do hope you get it sorted for your mum though because its horrible that this was her first good win and then to have it taken away! Good luck and hope she gets lots of nice wins in the near future x

Wow, what a great response - thanks guys and thanks for finding out this info Toni! So kind!

We got a response from Jelly Belly that said they know it's a serious matter, someone has severely paid for this mistake at IPC and they are going to email back next week - so will give them a chance and see what they come back with! If not, then Facebook here we all come! I followed Garry's fight with Zavvi and think the people on here are amazing! Thanks guys I will keep you updated
