Talktalk - free line rental??

I am currently in dispute with Talktalk (big surprise) over the package that I signed up for. I actually signed up (online) on June 8th 2010, the last day of their special offer, which I believe was basically - "£6.99 for broadband, with free line rental for 12 months". I saw this offer mentioned on MSE for quite a few months, so am pretty sure this is correct. Needless to say, I have not been getting free line rental & have been having an e-mail dialogue with Talktalk to try & find out why not. The last message actually said that they never had such an offer! Have I got this totally wrong, or have they? Does anyone out there have this package - ie is just paying £6.99 a month?

Never heard of that particular offer, £6.99 is a pretty good price for BB+ line rental. Assuming you are getting a good service.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
