Beowulf Mining (BEM) is my top share for 2011.

End of March doesn't look too good for the portfolio. If it wasn't for Range and Beowulf then it would be down, down, down....

    That is plain old google.

If I'd known Range was so battle hardy I would have invested way more. Amazing in this wider world, Somalia is a relative place of calm it seems and we await drill results over the summer I think.
I doubt they find oil that easily, would be a nice bonus though. The price should still stand if other assets generally work out

As well as shares near the top, I was backing ones now near the bottom. LCG should get higher profits from increased trading, Japan troubles, etc
They do better with spiked markets.

Caza has oil and will find more most likely, not going to continue badly for the entire year
Soloman I cant even remember them really now  no interest

    update of my little shortlist

Nice to see Graphite Enterprise creeping up there. Not one to go for shares that will triple or else crash, much prefer steady growth. Its still on 35% or so discount to NAV so even without any growth in assets a rerating will add to the share price. Just wish I'd topped up more into my ISA at under £3.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

I've been invested in Berkeley Mineral Resources (BMR) for a while now and their future looks promising. Following recent news, they have been severely de-risked imo as they are very likely to secure their first deal. They're also in the advanced stages of acquiring another property.

Also, to whoever mentioned CNR, that was a great shout. I got in at 6p and am now currently sitting on nearly 50% paper profit. It was more, but it dropped after news that the JORC update would be delayed by 2 weeks. I like where they could be in a year's time, especially with the elephant in the room.

Of the two, I'd say CNR is the strongest of buys.

An average of just over 10% gain since the start of the year. The poor performers are still, poor:

I see my CRND pick is still tanking. Fortunately I sold a while back at 3p+! :money:

    What happened to CAZA?
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

    They drilled a duster I think. I am glad I didn't invest.
More bearish than bullish at the moment
