I think, if you get 70% off AND free delivery it's a bit much to expect free returns, even if it's a legal obligation.
But that's just me looking at it from a retailer's point of view."fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0 -
Well I am only returning them because they appear at least two shades darker in the flesh than they did online :-(
I realise that different browers etc affect these things but the colour is way different.
Anyway cheeky or not I do believe that they have to provide a returns slip, does anyone know please"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

Ok found this on the site
Non-faulty GoodsIf you are not happy with your goods we offer a free returns process* within the UK only using Royal Mail. If you want to return any goods from outside the UK this must be arranged and paid for by you. Goods must be returned within the cancellation period; this commences upon receipt of your item and ends 14 days later. We will not accept any returns for non-faulty items that have been used and tags removed.
But then lower down this*Returns during sale periods are not free. You, the customer, are responsible for paying the postage for any returns during this period. This applies for the winter sale: December 24th 2010 - January 31st 2010
Just because an item is reduced that cannot waive your statutory rights to a free return ?
Or can it does anyone know please why the fact that it is reduced changes the DSR regulation.

You are correct in saying that your rights cannot be waived just because an item is reduced.
However I don't believe you are entitled to a free return under DSR. You are entitled to your money back for the costs of the goods and any costs of delivery to you - as long as you say you want to return them within 7 days of receipt.
The DSRs say that the seller must tell you who pays the costs of returns in their website Ts&Cs. As far as I am aware the website did explain that the costs of returns during the sale are to be borne by the buyer.0 -
I received my gorgeous red purse at £11 down from £38 and my lovely black over-body bag with the flower on for £15 down from £49 -- £86 worth of goods for the price of a average bag from dotty p's lovely
Had lots of compliments on the bag and it looks really nice quality
