MOT faults Seat frame not secure?

Hi, my FIAT Punto 04 Reg just failed its MOT and I have a bill of £885 (incl VAT) to pay to fix the car. The main items that failed is something to do with the seat frame not being secure (exact terminology I am not sure of until I get the report). That and another related item is costing £428+£233 and comes up to £792 including VAT.
Am I being ripped off here? I got the job being done at Stoneacre Goole.
Cheers.

Is that a dealership? Replaced the whole seat with a new one have they?0

What have the garage said needs to be done exactly? If we had a better idea of what it was they were charging you for it'll be easier to see if they are ripping you off. Or not.0

Stoneacre are main dealers, more info required from the OP.0

Surely you can tell whether the seat wobbles?
And when it started to wobble, why didn't you get it looked at?
The longer you leave things, the worse and more costly they invariably get.
Price I have to admit seems steep, but that's only based on what your telling us is wrong.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I would certainly let an independent garage look at the car before parting with that amount of cash.0

Have you tested the seat and looked at the frame it sits on? it might need a new one or just tightening up even if you need to replace the whole seat it is not a big job and should not cost more than £100 with parts if you were replacing frame + seat itself (unless it has air bags in the seat) what is the other problem with the car?0
