  • Hi everyyone,

Just found this thread. Finding it really helpful.

Just wondering if any new or older raters can tell me how long they how been spending on tasks. They are talking about the productivity levels, but after looking i cannot find the actual amount of tasks per hour we are supposed to be aiming for.

Just want to know where i stand really. Only been able to do 15/20 mins per hour throughout the day as the tasks run out. Ive been rating for 1 week now.

    Thankyou :)

Luke - AFAIK you get paid for anything that comes in your que. Stupidly when I first started I did a few of them on my own time. They usually come in under type 2 so thats where I put them on my timesheet now.

Laura, for some reason unknown to me, the productivity table is no longer visable where it was before.
As for rating I spend anything between 2 and 4 hours a day and thankfully I havnt come across NRT yet  so tasks are available as and when I need them.

Thanks Sparkle, that's good to hear. It is a bit worrying the table has disappeared seemingly for a couple of weeks now.
  • Sparkle - Are you rating on all different tasks. I do have tasks available but still unsure to do them. Need to read up on notes available. Only certain tasks dissapear which is a little frustrating when you want to work for a while. With no productivity info i am reluctant to start working on tasks i have not read too much about.

How long have you been rating for?

Not been rating long hun, about a month. Yeah Im rating all tasks, some are very tedious and make my head spin but I want the hours so I have read through the manuals and its getting easier.
I have to keep referring back to them but LB advise that you do that anyway :)
You also have about 6 weeks to get upto standard productivity wise, so if I were you I would be learning the other tasks now as once those 6 weeks are up they will expect your productivity to be on target. Some are really easy, so try not to worry.

I agree with what Sparkle has said. The easiest way to get to grips with all the different types are just to take the plunge and start doing them. All of the different types will give you a link to instructions - some of them are quite short pdfs and others longer. There are also some training sessions and the new rater webinar which are helpful. As you are not expected to be up to speed in the first six weeks then now is the ideal time to get the practice in! Also as Sparkle has said - some of the types you will find easier than the type you did in your exam so do not worry too much.
    Good luck!

    Same here ootie.. :)

    I have a sneaky suspicion I didn't pass tbh as I didn't check the gl as much as I thought I would and a few I couldn't decide.. :(

Oh well. I'll try and enjoy the weekend and just keep clicking send & receive once Monday comes...

I'm really annoyed as I have 2 unresolved tasks on my page that's been there for a few days now but the Status says "Resolved". All the other unresolved tasks had now gone but I just don't understand why those 2 are still there. Any ideas?

I had one there too for nearly a week, it seems to have disappeared now though.

Not sure I will last long at this to be honest!!
