Well I got sacked today LOL!! Apparently I was rating too quickly. I emailed them to explain my extenuating circumstances, but what with this and the whole bonus/ NRT thing, I can't say Lionbridge are my favourite company right now *rolls eyes*
Anyway, best of luck to the rest of youxx

OMG, unbelievable. OK, will they pay you anything they owe you for starters Sammyantha? And rating too quicky...that seems an odd thing to sack you for...surely if the tasks were OK then thats fine and maybe a warning or something would have been better!?!?0 -
OMG sorry to hear that Sammyantha - I'm ever more paranoid now!
I'm a bit confused so need clarification...I think I read somewhere that I should be commenting on each tasks for the first 3 weeks for them to justify my rating but I've only been doing them for one of the special tasks instead of the main ones. Am I meant to be commenting on every task??? I've only done just over 3 hours but I've searched through my emails and I can't find where I might have read this from!0 -

I emailed them a couple of weeks ago about the same thing and they confirmed you need to comment on all tasks for the first 3 weeks. They did say that they would make it clearer on the Portal but obviously they haven't as yet.
Good luck and happy rating.:)

Nooooooo!:(:( I am so sorry Sammyantha - I can't quite believe that. I am really worried now - I was hoping this was going to last me the 11 months but I am really starting to think that that is very unlikely. I haven't even got the productivity metrics showing for me so I have no idea whether I am fast, slow or what.

Hi All
OMG Sammy, thats terrible.
Im going to be really worried now, I have emailed them twice about not being able to see the productivity table...
Redzhell you do need to comment on every task for the first three weeks. Im over that now but if I have had a tricky task I find myself commenting anyway just so they understand where Im coming from. Especially as they seem to be really clamping down right now.
Fro-ald have you had your timesheet approved yet this month?

No, not yet - have you? I listened to one of their webinars the other day where they stated that timesheets were normally approved between the 6th and 8th of the month - so I suppose we are only just over that. But that, together with no productivity measures to go by and now Sammyantha's news I am starting to feel a bit nervous!

Nope not yet
I know we are only a teeny bit over but it all makes me nervous.
I know some of the US raters have had theirs done but I havn't seen any UK raters who have been approved yet.
I have to say this job has raised my blood pressure a few notches over the last couple of weeks!
