Ok, that's no problem; I kind of guessed that would be the case.

I was wondering if anyone has had their January bonuses confirmed yet? Time sheet was fine so I assume bonus will be coming but haven't had the email.

No not had January bonus either. I contacted them and they said it would be paid in March. Sounds a bit strange as they usually pay straight away. But at least it sounds as though everyone has had there bonus delayed, I thought it was just me as my contract is up!

Lionbridge won't allow you to work for Leapforce, if they find out you will get terminated. As they are the rivals.:(

Having asked LB if it was okay to work for BH while under contract they were fne about it so bit surprised they said no to leapforce!

Maybe it's rumour then, I never actually asked them myself and have never seen it anywhere in they're terms and conditions so maybe your right.:D

    Hi

Can any LB workers let me know where payments originate from? Are we paid from Ireland in Euro currency?

I have two UK bank accounts, one with Barclays, and one with NatWest, and am trying to work out which charges the least for the bank transfers...
To work this out, I need to know where the payments come from, and in what form (I presume we have to pay all the charges too - not shared)

I'm not sure how much can be discussed on here with regard to my query, so I'd appreciate a PM (or three!)

    Many thanks
    Tara

    hey tara,
not sure on where the money comes from, but I can say barclays don't charge me for receiving it and just changed it from euros to £ at a decent rate.

    Ohhhhh, I don't really understand.
So the euros go in, and you have to ask your bank to exchange to pounds sterling? If so, how much do you lose in the pound?

Apologies, but I've not done anything like this before....:o

Payment does come from Ireland hence being in euros. Your bank will then automatically convert it into sterling and pay that sterling amount into your account. You don't have to ask them to do anything. Some banks charge for this process, some don't. I use LTSB and they don't charge but I don't know about your banks. Different banks also use slightly different exchange rates but I don't think they differ greatly.
