  • I'm also a mm judge. Have had loads of work since Saturday but before that none for a week. Seems like everyones experiences are different which I must admit is curious.

I've not had my remittance email yet. Usually get it on the day we should be paid (ie yesterday the 11th) followed by money in bank 2 days later. Emailed them yesterday about remittance advice but got an auto reply saying they are really busy and will take 3-4 days to respond to my query!!

Just to update from the above... have now received my remittance advice and it also includes the xmas bonus that I had completely forgotten about!!

Hopefully my payment will go in tomorrow as usual but will have to wait and see....

I'm having exactly the same issues as Daisy - and there is nothing wrong with my "scores" (for want of a better word) so it seems you must be lucky.

Jan and December I had at least 20/30 hours a week solid up to end of Jan.

Have they ever missed a payment ?

    Xmas bonus ?

Does it actually say Xmas bonus on the remittance, because I never received a bonus :(
  • Sorry... no they've never missed a payment. I just meant it's sometimes a question of when you get paid not if! And with them being a bit behind sending out the remittances this month I'm hoping that doesn't mean the money will be late going into my bank! I'm with LT$B so will find out this afternoon!!

Got an email in December saying if we did over a certain number of hrs in Christmas week then we would get a bonus (this is for the IA role though... not sure if it applied to all roles). Which is what I did and received a message to confirm I had in early Jan and then I completely forgot about it. Spent ages yesterday working out how they got to my total on my remittance until I went through my emails and realised what they had done! :D

You can party once it's in the bank

Oh well, I did my partying during the Christmas week :rotfl:
  • Anyone heard anything about Jan timesheets yet?
  • Yes, I had an email on 6 February saying mine was approved.

If you haven't heard anything it might be best to email the appropriate department.

Just had my exam results through, and I passed both parts this time around :D

As I thought I may not pass, I enrolled my details with a similar company to Lionbridge a couple of weeks back, and will receive their exam questions this weekend.
Are you allowed to work for two similar agencies at the same time?

It's really not a problem if it's not allowed, and I can step back from the other exam, but as work could be scarce with Lionbridge, I wondered if it would be prudent to work for both agencies...

Lionbridge have no mention of this so far not in they're consultation agreement notes.
