I've had NRT all afternoons this week, other times of day are ok though. Haven't had my stars either.

Well i just got my mid month productivity email, and its not good news.

Apparently i am working WAY too slow, i managed to do 15 hours for the first two weeks and they said i was over at about 6.5 hours. I know it was my first two weeks but it still seems too slow, im not sure if this is for me anymore.

I guess i have to now just really speed up but really risk my quality rating, to be honest i have no choice really because the way i am going its not really worth it.

I have already knocked of half of my time to get the 15 hours as it is, i have just spent so much time reading about new task information, making sure i have done everything perfect etc. The productivity figures are way too ridiculous for me.

Well i am going to have to risk this and start zipping the tasks now.

I'm on my 5th month as a rater. I did get one of those emails when I first started. I think the best advise is not to 'over think' tasks. I find that if I over think things I take too long because I start questioning my original decision. Now, I can usually complete work within the requirements.

I think most people are slower in their first month, and with time you improve. I agree with pip12, try not to overthink it and maybe trying some practice quizzes every now and then will help to improve your speed in practice.

FemmeFatale, did you get the email about tasks? There is more coming through although it could depend on the time of day.

I have received around 4 of these emails now, normally with about 6 weeks inbetween. So just as i forget about my application they say they are still considering it. Good job i didn't pin too many hopes on this, would just be a bonus if i was to get anything.
    Hopeful optimistic.
  • Hi I got an email from Lionbridge saying they are no longer reruiting for the assessor role, but have positions for a media role which would involve viewing adult sites. It says to fill all the forms in by tomorrow morning to be considered.
Do you think this sounds suspicious ? Or have other people done this ?
    Kind regards
    Julie

I just received the same email. I think the opportunity sounds legit and I desperately need the chance to earn some extra money, but I am not sure that I want my IP logged on any potentially illegal videos and images. It would be interesting to know if anyone else is going to apply.
