Really basic question, but I've trawled the lionbridge site with no luck - do they purely offer jobs where a second language is required?

    Thanks for any info!

Hi, im in my second month and have had a poor quality feedback this month after doing well in the first month. Can anyone offer any advice please, has this happened to anyone else? I have emailed them for feedback.

    Thanks

Hi, am fairly new but i think attending webinars and doing quizzes helps. Also, other raters suggested earlier in the thread that the more hours you do the better.

I also did badly in my second month, and got 2 stars. This was over the christmas period so I wasn't able to attend seminars etc and struggled to even get in the minimum hours nevermind do quizzes.

Ever since I've made sure I've done the quizzes, watched videos and attended seminars even when not invited. I've had 4/5 stars every month since and I'm pretty sure my actual quality hasn't changed.

    Hi

I'm just about to take the exams and I'm just wondering if anyone knows how this job would affect tax credits. I'm currently a SAHSM and I am unsure how many hours I should average out as weekly work for tax credits if I should pass the exam?

    Hope someone can help!!

    Thanks :):)

When I used to do this job, some of the tasks I got were ridiculously hard and there was never any feedback about how to specifically deal with "problem" tasks. Needless to say, I was doing say 10 hours work and only submitting for 8 hours. I had a good rating but missed out on a lot of pay as this was a regular occurrence.

I read they could kick you out of the program any time if they weren't satisfied with your performance. Self employment contracts offer little in terms of security and rights. There isn't even the right to reply in some cases.
