  • oooh the dreaded NRT :-( I have been fine touch wood, worked a good 3 hours last night with no problems at all. Planning a couple of hours tonight - just logged on and could see tasks available so really hope there is some later on.
  • Ahhh teh dreaded NRT. Hated it always.

I don't generally post on here anymore as I was dropped by Lionbridge back in December for not being good enough to continue rating - I did not think I was overly bad at it and spent a fair bit of time challanging the results I was reviewed on and incorrectly given black marks!

For those that are getting 2 stars though do not be disheartened. E-mail Finan (I think his name was) and query what is going wrong. I did and I was given a lot of good advice, even if I did then follow same and still get 2 stars. The sort run of money I got was good and helped me out; I wish I had done better and was still doing it, but some things are not meant to be.

It's Fintan, the UK's Quality Controller.
I think I've got the email of him somewhere so if anyone wants it, PM me.
You may also have it as well if you've had a webinar invitation.

I'm getting that too -as of now the Portal page appears to have vanished entirely, just a blank page at the URL.

They're probably mid way through a server or software upgrade so hopefully it should all come back later today.
  • Hi All,

I sent off my application a couple of weeks ago and my exam will be starting on the 16th Feb but I'm not going to have any fast, good internet at home until the 24th Feb. I have a dongle which is mostly decent but does cut off or slow down every now and then and I have a library near me where I can use wifi for free during the day. Was wondering if I'm allowed to do the exam and/or the job with the wifi or dongle (can't see in T&Cs that I can't) and also if anyone does do some of their work via wifi or dongle.

Please PM me - any info would be very much appreciated! Thanks :)

I didn't get any NRT yesterday.... but I suppose it's probably due as we've had endless amount of work (and bonuses!) for a couple of months now.
