  • Anyone else having trouble in the actual system? I know the homepage has a few issues but I'm getting blank pages returned a lot. Frustrating when we have lots of work available!
  • Oops sent that too quick. Was going to say to Brownwolf are you in the UK? Im not aware of UK raters doing the ad assessing so not sure if anyone will be able to help :/
  • Hi Charlie yeah I'm in the UK , towards the end of last year I applied for Lionbridge Internet Assessor job but failed the exam due to stupidly rushing through it; then last week I was contacted by Lionbridge regarding working as a UK Ad Assessor. So like I mentioned in my previous post I have passed the exam. Just wondering if anyone is in the same boat, looks likes most of you are working as internet assessor's.

I got an email asking me if I wanted to apply for it at the start of December, so returned everything asked for but I haven't heard anything since.

Have you worked for them as an internet assessor samwsmith1 ? I thought there was an issue with the UK posts that they would only hire you for 11 months but because this is a different position will they consider hiring you again ? That's interesting. My 11 months is up next week I think and as much as Ill enjoy having some free time back again, they money has come in handy and I could be interested in another few months

Oh never heard of anyone in the UK getting those other jobs that are always for US residents. It still shows US only on the website: http://en-gb.lionbridge.com/Ad-Assessors/

My 11 months is up in the next couple of months and I agree - it will be great to have free time again (as I work full time as well as this!) but I will miss the money.
  • Hi GemmaC25

I know it says that on the website but they are definitely taking people on in the UK to work as an Ad Assessor. I got my welcome email today so will be able to start in the next few days. Im looking forward to it a lot of stuff for newbies like me to learn but it will be worth it!

Well second month in, first month four stars, this month two stars. I don't really understand it, my rating has been the same. The only thing I can think of is I didn't attend the webinars or do any quizzes this month. We've had family stuff going on this month, so I have only just managed to get the ten hours done, nevermind spend time doing quizzes.

Anyone know what I can expect to happen next? I've done some quizzes this morning. Was going to try and get loads done today but I've lost all motivation now.

Hi Lexilex, i've just had the same rating (my first month) and it has really put me on a downer. I thouight i was doing ok and now it's put me into a whirl of panic. I've also been doing quizzes this morning - its just so difficult finding the time (i have another job as well as this one). I did loads yesterday and, like you, im feeling really de-motivated this morning :(
I really need this job and now im stressing so much over it
