Help with UK to Buenos Aires March 2011

Hi all,
Thanks for your help........im looking to travel from UK (ideally London) to Buenos aires for a 10 day (roughly speaking) stay in March 2011.
I only know of Skyscanner as a search tool- but it is proving unreliable at the moment with innacurate quotes!
Is anyone aware of cheap ways/routes I could take? Loopholes or current offers?
The more I save the better really as the pennies go really far once you get to BsAs !!
Thanks again x

Hi, i've also been looking at the flights to South America (Buenos Aires).
So far all the flights seem so expensive! If I went to South America I'ld want to go to Buenos Aires, Rio De Janerio and Santiago.
Does anyone know if there are any budget airlines in South America0 -
It's tricky eh!?
TAM to Brasil, Alitalia-Luftasa-Iberia to Buenos Aires
Some value can be had by Iberia Madrid - BsAs.........about £500
As far as internal flights in South America go - no idea ! Have flown Brasil - Bs As before with TAM, but no idea how much it costs now !
But yeah- looks like you can't go to South America for much less than £700 these days- despite what the offers on google searches say !!
Unless anyone out there has more info !!????0 -
My sister and I went to Argentina on a 12 day trip that we sorted ourselves in August 2009. We flew Manchester to Buenos Aires via Paris with Air France but I reckon there'd be more deals from London. You will probably be looking at a minimum of £500 though. Getting to SA isn't cheap

We did a coach over to Mendoza (always "upgrade" - it costs a quid or two but it is definitely worth it! Then over the Andes to Santiago by coach.
Flights between countries can be booked with Fly Pluna... a budget South American airline, who were okish. I think they are a Uruguayan company so some fly via Montevideo (stock up at their duty free!!). If you want any other information PM me. Can recommend a great hotel in BA as well.
I loved it!!!0 -
Brazil has low fare airline Gol that flys to other countries in SA.
Buenos Aires is one of those places that just isn't cheap to fly to, when BA commence their non stop service to EZE this year it'll be more expensive than flying to Sydney.
If you have plenty of time flights to Sao Paulo can be good value.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Opodo is advertising some Air Europa flights to BA for under £600. I doubt you'll do much better than that. My girlfriend is from BA and she reckons to spend around £700 to visit from London.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
Hi.......had no internet for days so no progress either.........will check that Opodo deal but I seem to think I tried before to no avail.......flights to Sau Paolo do seem a good option if a cheap connection can be found so.........
im just hoping some miracle offer will pop up in the near future !!! chances?

Anyone ever flown Air Europa from Gatwick? Or from anywhere else? Recommended?
£600 return is the best price out there at the mo with them0 -

Does'nt look good........might be worth a few quid more to go Air France!0 -
Little update - just found a load of flights with TAM going via Sau Paulo to BsAs AEP £611
Cheapest yet is with Air Europa via Madrid- returning within a week £470
.......still hoping something around that price will pop up without having to risk Air Europa !!0
