Thanks to everyone for responding. I currently have an Alpha 240XP combi, we didn't choose it as such, it was recommended by the original fitter. Another fitter says that sort are crap and I'm inclined to agree with him

Will definately look into all the above makes.
ps Is 14 rads classed as 'high capacity'?0 -
We have 11 rads and 2 mixer showers. If you want to run everything on high temp and flow you cant really economise by having a small combi. We have a worcester bosch greenstar high flow 440. Bit of a monster, not cheap but gallons of piping hot water. We had the 2nd our plumber had fitted, and he was now recommending them for larger houses. Its also a condenser (as they all have to be now.Gas doc on the loose0
