  • Surprisingly as it is a Monday, today has been a good day.

    No spends:D

    Plans all sorted.:D

Have to sort out for the camp at the weekend- but that is easily done, i am procrastinating really.

House is tidy-ish, i have a mound of ironing- well i call it ironing but i ain't doing it. They are all adults now so they do it.:D

Off to sort tea out, which will be a shepherds pie tonight and i am making another chicken pie as well..yes we decided there was enough chicken meat for another one. Will sort out my sandwiches for tomorrow and then i am done.

Just been thinking re yesterday and the tree, i have now decided to set up a savings account for household things, so have transferred £100 into that. It will allow for things that need doing to the house and also to pay for maintenance such as servicing of boiler etc. Why didn't i do that one before?:o Well, i used to do when account was with The Woolwich, then Barclay's took over so i closed the account down. I had several pots for different things and it worked really well. So i am adopting the same system now. I have also set up a regular £40 per month payment into the account so as it will build up nicely.
I am unsure whether to put the car into the same account or again have a separate account.
    Will ponder over that one.

    Enjoy the rest of Monday.

Thanks lucielle i will see how many i can get :)

    On further frugal notes..

The boblettes and co are completely full tonight from Chicken pie,( i changed pastry and added more mushrooms to the filling) So full in fact there is enough for dinner tomorrow i also overdid the veg :D:rotfl:

Pud was an apple sponge made with eating apples, so less sugar added. They were an aldi 49p special, and were going slightly crinkly in the fridge.

That will make a total of five meals from one chicken:eek: One round of sandwiches, one chicken stir fried rice- two chicken pies, with enough left over for tomorrow:D:rotfl: And i don't do mean portions, they have just had to undo their buttons :rotfl:

    Good times.

Well if you like your cakes :)

I do a lot of reduced sugar dishes for DD2- use spices as flavourings as well..i try and give her treats without reducing the taste. I don't use artificial sugar either;):D
