:o:o:o I don't even know what gel that might be. Tell me - its not silly at all, truly.

  • I use a glucosamine one- which i bought from home bargains- works just as well as the gel i was prescribed and a fraction of the cost. I keep it in the fridge and use when i need to. Replace every 3 months. It is part of the healthpoint range.

It is the third one down..but you can pick it up cheaper than that as well.

Thanks for this, Bob - didn't even know there was such a thing :o it certainly means that it gets to the affected bit, if it can get through the dermis, I like the sound of it ... the skin does feel a bit different sometimes.

Do you think I should have researched my name a bit more before adopting it?

  • Well managed a few things today:

Shop came to £28 including grow bags which were 3 for £3 a bit of a bargain. :D

Chicken pie was rather good and is now a fav in The Bob household, in fact they were examining the chicken left, in order to see if there is enough for a pie tomorrow. :o:rotfl: So thanks to Weezl a mega frugal meal.

Talking of frugal- well..i had a quote last year for removal/or trimming of our tree in the back garden. The tree also suffered some damage from previous cutting back and was starting to rot. Anyway the chap came back today and lowered the quote:o So i went ahead and had it done. I know it was a bit of money, but it had to be done. I just hope it will all be worth it. I miss the tree, but the size of the garden has doubled..he cleared up and took the remains with him. So now we have a stump where the tree was. This has been treated and I am able to plan a few things now. We certainly want to grow more veg and with the tree gone we have so much more light. :)

So back to Weezl's planner as it was unbudgeted for and although i had a surplus from my account i really want to make every penny count.

The rest of the day was spent gardening and cooking so all in all a very fruitful day.:D
