    Happy new diary Bob.

Good to see you around again - just remember you can't fix everything at the one time and nothing is more important than taking care of yourself. Don't get so worked up over things you can't control and focus on what you are able to influence.

Jeez, when did i start getting so preachy?

Anyway, good to see you back Bob and look forward to hearing you clobbering the debt.

You are right of course George :) I think a lot of frustration arises from lack of control- or rather allowing control to slip out of our own hands and into others. I think it is a positive thing to stop blaming and start doing more- well i was doing more before, but resenting it and not seeing the positives.:o So each day a debt is paid- well it is better for the family as whole.
Some things will never be great- but i can change my attitude to how i deal with them and how i see them..if that makes sense.

Preach away dear boy, preach away..:D

  • I am putting it down on here so i can keep a better track.

So today, well last week i bought the News of The World and received an Asda voucher pack for healthy vouchers- used them today when i went shopping.

    So total spends £48
Vouchers used knocked a further £8 off, i also had an Asda card voucher which i used off spends- another £1.50 off
Then it gave me a multibuy discount- another £3.50 off- Total off came to £13 so total shop came to £35. :T I was very impressed, the cupboards are groaning now, as is the fridge. I am hoping to spend a further £20 this month on fresh bits, which will bring the shopping total for the month to about £150 with the discounts..or less.:D:money::money:

A big compliment to Asda staff today, as DD2 suffered a hypo attack. She went to counter while Mr.B bought some stuff from her and asked if he could go to front of queue as it was an emergency..not only did they do that, but they gave her a few things to eat and refused to charge a penny..so a massive thank you to them for brill customer service.:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

    Good day:D

She is very well EH and is job hunting to build up monies for when she goes back to Uni:D She didn't have enough carbohydrate at dinner time, so got a bit low on the blood sugar..either that or she got excited at the prospect of shopping:eek::rotfl::rotfl: Not like Asda is a mecca or owt- well unless you have vouchers ..in which case:D:rotfl:
