    Hey Bobalicious

Just popping in to see how you're doing.
Still sounding focussed and not up for manslaughter yet so seems good.

    How are the younguns doing?
Is Uni life calming down or are they actually behaving?

    Hey back George

I am just taking it day by day

    How are the younguns doing?
They are doing ok at the moment thanks

Ahh uni- DD2 has not gone this year after her stay in hospital- so is deferring it until September. She is just feeling right now and is job hunting in earnest in order to save up dosh:D I feel quite proud of her attitude and even prouder that she has not allowed events to overtake her too much.
DD1 is about to start a master's course as well :D

DS is just looking for a new job as he feels like this one is not really going anywhere, but it gives him money and he is saving like mad at the moment..

Mr.B is behaving, or maybe i am just letting him get on with it..either way it is not as tense and the spade remains in the back of the shed at the present time. He has had some inspired moments lately and i think it may well be to do with attitudes changing and the fact we are all getting on with things..who knows, the children may teach him somethings..saving for one thing:D

I am a bit better healthwise, as you probably gathered my humour is still as bad..other than that i keep on going.:D:rotfl:

For those wanting free range chickens where there is no farm shop, would ordering on-line at Waitrose or M&S do the job? I know M&S do free range chickens ... but I have no idea if they can be ordered on-line (I have only done clothes myself)

  • Aldi's are good and a really good size too- you certainly get value for money.
I suppose Tesco online will deliver Free range chooks, ASDA seems to be a bit hit and miss in that dept. Although in all fairness i have only ordered from them once, so need a few orders to see.
Thanks for the in put Northern lass and Butti. x

  • Well such a lot has happened the past few days.

My GG unit finally got off the ground properly with a party and everything:D That was Thursday night.

My Birthday was yesterday- and i was treated, i have bought myself some new Hiking boots with birthday money, then as i needed some new shoes for work, bought those too.:D

Am feeling rather stodgy though after all the excess celebrations lately, so will be back on SW diet - where's there's a smaller size pants there's a way:cool::rotfl:

I do have two cheques to put into bank account to cover monies spent, and that will leave me with about £15 over budget for the weekend..err thanks to new shoes.:o

So that's about it really, have to get to grips with Feb budget properly now...i have £95 in Grocery budget left. I think it is very doable.

    Ooh Happy belated Birthday Bob
    :bdaycake:

& congratulation on your new GG units maiden voyage :j. there are now 50 in DDs, being on a friday it's very popular - me thinks parents sneak off for a quick bevvy in nearby pub ;)

Good luck with the SW, I like your saying & will now steal it as my new mantra. I'm doing great on the exercise, annoyingly doing even better with sampling the home made baking :o.

Oooh gotta run, I can feel a flapjack trying to escape from the tin ...
