    Well it always was illegal, what they brought in was seizure of property without due process on top of it.

    Well now you mention it, i haven't heard it called that before..but seeing the similarities to tea bags, well i suppose it makes sense in a weird way.

    Protests are legal if you have the permission of the police. They needn't give permission, and given the rise of kettling, they can renege on that permission at any time.

    Picket lines are legal with only a certain number of pickets (I think it's six or less), again the Police may decide they don't like you.

    Freedom of speech is legal provided the police, councils, government and various quangoes all like what you're saying.

    To picket when on strike is a nightmare now. They can limit how many picket too. Dreadful.
