Virgin Media competitive or not? Any ideas?

I've been with telewest, now VM, for 5 years.

I have to say I find it next to impossible to compare the package I have from them via cable with alternatives.

I get:

1. unlimited anytime broadband

2. TV which includes their on demand services

and

3. Landline including unlimited calls to other, geographical UK landlines

This ensemble seems to cost me around £80 - £90 per month and has escalated by about 30% since I started taking the service for some reason.

Can anyone tell me whether I am definitely paying over the odds or not?

If your getting sky sports and movies it seems about the standard price, best idea is to go on the virgin media site and build your ideal bundle to see how much it costs then call up virgin and change tarrif

We have a similar package to you. Just make sure that you are getting their top speed broadband package for that price. We were languishing on 20MB speeds before I realised.

You get what you pay for , yes Sky will be cheaper but the broadband will be slower.

Virgin Media is definaitly the best Boardband suppiler out there IMO.
