Free Give And Take Event For Islington Charities/Small Businesses On 27th January

BUSINESS GIVE OR TAKE DAY
Date of event: 27th January 2011.
This event takes good quality office items unwanted by businesses, often due to overbuying i.e. surplus stock, or an office refurbishment or an office move, and donates them to a local charity or small start-up business, ensuring these items are diverted away from landfill
and are used by local organisations that need them the most.
Collection of large donated items e.g. a desk etc is free
(subject to availability)
Registration and attendance on the day will be available to local charities and small businesses only.
All charities and small businesses must be located in,
or affiliated to, Islington.
Delivery of large donated items on the day will be free to registered charities/businesses.
Date of event: 27th January 2011.
What can my business donate?
Items can include office chairs,desks, filing cabinets, stationery
(unused reams of paper, pens,folders, file dividers etc),
computers, printers, office telephones and business books.
Please be advised that all items must be in full working order and
in good condition.
For electrical items a minimum specification may be required.
Please note: Items in poor condition with rips,
broken legs etc cannot be accepted.
