Is tracking part of the MOT

the ball joint on mine are wrapped in a rubber bush too.
Track rod ends are a balljoint... NOT a rubber Bush... The rubber you can see will be the boot/gaiter whatever to keep the !!!! out.
Should add... Split Balljoint rubbers are not a reason for MOT rejection either.. Providing there is no play in the balljoint itself.0 -
This morning's job on the Panda interestingly was a new O/S Wishbone to replace the bottom ball joint. The tyre on that side was pretty new 10k miles but the shoulder was bald.
So a £45 part (wishbone) turned into an £80 job and that is without any labour charge. And I still need to get the tracking done
OP get the bushes or ball joint fixed, then the tracking otherwise in pretty short order you can add a tyre to the list.0
